About Rosa
I've teach sewing, design and patternmaking lessons all over Los Angeles and online via Google Hangouts or Skype. I specialize in costume design for theater and film. With more than 19 years of experience I teach with patience and leave lots of room for any questions.
I love teaching a skill that will last a lifetime.
I teach adults, kids/parents, and groups through L.A. Sewcial Club.

I've been designing and sewing for more than 19 years. I have a Degree in Fashion Design.

I have a lesson plan prepared for our time together but include plenty of time for questions.
I teach Male and Female adults.
Have a clean, working sewing machine, have a sewing kit and have questions ready to ask. If your sewing machine comes with a Users Manual read it thoroughly. If your sewing machine has a tool kit, open it and find out what everything is. An instructor can teach you how to actually use it and answer any questions.
I taught a class of 20 LAUSD teachers how to craft for Day of the Dead at an Art Gallery in Highland Park, Los Angeles.

The online Skype/Google lessons are $20-$25 per hour weekends, year-round. The in-person lessons start at $50 per hour and are very limited. All available at lasewcialclub.bigcartel.com.
