About Laura
I am a fashion designer of many years and published. I also taught clothing and textile in the DC public school system. I sew for other designers and I specialize in couture.
In sewing, I teach the basic foundations. Once achieved, students are able to make anything they want. Foundation is critical and not always an easy task.
It's always a plus for students to have their own machines at home because practicing is EVERYTHING.
