About Betty
My lessons are different because they are all private, one on one.
I have been hired over 50 times that’s a typo. I have helped many start their journey to Sew.
When my daughter was three months old, I saw an outfit that I wanted that was over $100 and probably used a half a yard of fabric. I started to take a class in sewing and fell in love and have done nothing but for the last 25 years.
Licensed interior designer in the state of Florida, 25 years experience, teaching Sewing and design. Worked backstage for Victoria’s Secret fashion show when they filmed here for CBS. Also worked photo shoots on South Beach. I also teach men and boys.

Finding out what their goals are and make it happen.
Everybody from a 5 year-old to a 65-year-old man. Everybody Has to start somewhere. I also do product development if you need guidance with an idea that you want to make. I also do workshops for service hours and groups.
Make sure that they are flexible and can teach you what you want to know instead of what they want you to know.
I loved working backstage for the Victoria’s Secret fashion show when they filmed on South Beach for CBS and after that photo shoots on South Beach, so much fun

I’ve always wanted to learn how to sew. I took a class for couple months, and found sewing to be complicated. Years later, when I had time, decided to try again... and I found Ms. Betty.
I am soo happy I did!! She simplified everything for me, and the world of sewing became fun! I’ve come a long way, and now I can sew pretty much anything I want. Miss Betty is a brilliant teacher, with a great sense of humor, I recommend her!Betty is the queen of sewing! She’s super funny and sweet and lessons are never boring!
