About Jennifer
I have master's degree in Vocal pedagogy and I have taught at two universities, but most importantly- I am a singer myself! i enjoyed performing in NYC and touring the U.S. for over 15 years, and I am now happy to call LA home. I have a classical background, but teach all styles- and have performed in all styles! Students have ranged from opera singers, to broadway stars, to jazz and recording artists. The most important thing is to learm to sing in a healthy manner so you can sing absolutely anything.
I love helping people find their unique voice! No two voices are the same and each person's natural voice is a gift that should be shared.
I have an MM in Vocal pedagagy, have been on voice faculty at two universities, and I have also had an active performing career. Credits include: New York City Opera, Lincoln Center, City Center, Wolf Trap, Opera Columbus, the St Louis MUNY, New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players, and more.

Talking to them about their goals and what and why they want to sing is priority #1. Usually we start with breathing and vocal exercises to stretch the range and strengthen the voice and then in the second half of the lesson we move onto rep.
