Experienced tutor in Singing in New York, DUSTIN offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

I've had a lot of musical experience, including singing in choirs and a cappella groups, but i had never had formal vocal training before Dustin. He was careful to break things down to the very basics, starting with the breath, in a friendly and structured manner. From a small handful of lessons, i've become much more aware of the mechanisms that produce my vocal sound, and am better able to recognize issues and self-correct when singing on my own. The lessons have given me a great basis for further practice, and i find myself coming back often to the exercises and techniques that i learned from Dustin.

As a bonus, it's practically impossible not to get along well with Dustin, which helps create an atmosphere conducive to the useful but funny-sounding vocal exercises---like breathing with resistance, and the "siren"---which, if done in the street, might otherwise draw perplexed glances from passersby. Highly recommended!

He's hilarious, approachable, and not hoity-toity when it comes to teaching you how to use your voice. He takes a down-to-earth approach that makes sense to anyone who wants to get to know their voice a bit better.
