About Alejandra
I’m currently a vocal performance major at William Paterson University. I’m trained in classical and Pop music but also have employees who are trained in Jazz voice as well. I currently teach at local music schools in the area. I love what I do and would love to further my clients music abilities.
While teaching my students I find that I end up learning from them sometimes!
I started teaching at a local music school and fell in love with it. I now teach at two music schools in Newark NJ and have private students myself.
I am currently majoring in vocal performance with a minor in piano. I am always training myself. I have knowledge in music theory, ear training, French, Italian, English, and German diction.

My first lesson is a “get to know each other” session where the student will express their musical concerns and goals. In this session I see their musical abilities and determine where to start in our journey learning together!
I’ve worked with mostly children ages 5-11 and teenagers ages 15-18 who are preparing for auditions.
Make sure you connect with your instructor. It’s important to have a strong relationship with your voice teacher so both can understand how to move forward together.
One of my first voices students recently got accepted to William Paterson University for the voice program and I was very happy i could help with her college auditions.

Details
I typically charge $25 an hour if I travel to my clients home. I charge $18 an hour if the client comes to me. I also have packages of $100 for 5 lessons or $200 for 12 lessons.
