About MELISSA
Very passionate about singing and really want to learn how to master your voice?
My technique can take you to that next level as we reprogram the internal muscles and mechanisms that function in order to create sound. Essentially we do a series of different exercises that are like lifting weights for the voice box. My approach focuses on the whole package of being a professional singer, creating a repertoire to support your singing goals and helping you unlock your full potential. I absolutely love singing with all my heart and wish to help others be able to discover how magical singing is!
Melissa Jane Dichiera - Born in Melbourne, Australia, she made her first T.V. appearance at the age of 7 and hasn't stopped performing since. A skilled triple threat, she has performed in numerous bands and shows throughout Australia. Her most recognized international success is fronting the pop R&B group Les BiJioux in Japan, hosting the T.V. show X-Beyond Surf on ESPN International and starring on VH1's Rock N Roll Fantasy Camp Season 2. Trained in opera, contemporary, blues, gospel, pop and rock, Melissa combines her powerful voice with a captivating stage presence to create a unique "front-woman" unlike anyone else on the scene today.
Emigrating to the United States in 2005, Melissa is well know for working not only in the spotlight but also behind the scenes in production. She joined DK Music and MJ Entertainment Unlimited assisting in the production of concerts and other live events worldwide. She has also produced events for Universal Studios (Japan and Hollywood), Access Events, GPL Technology marketing and events, annual CAPG Conferences, vendor fairs, music festivals and is the go to person for celebrity fundraisers and events.
She has now combined her skills as a performer and producer to create a motivational track that she personally uses as a tool for her own success called “Creating Focus & Balance”. Melissa’s mission is to entertain and inspire in everything that she does and she does so at the highest of standards.
Continuing to entertain she is currently the lead singer of the bands Lady Zep an all female Led Zeppelin tribute band, Final Gravity an original progressive rock band, The Convertibles a 12 piece soul blues rock band with a 6 piece horm section, NowhereJam Project a n international virtual band and SYNN an original metal band. In addition to being so entertaining she also owns and runs a successful events/production company called MJ Entertainment Unlimited.
Her band SYNN released their debut album “Venom” April 2017 which charted at 24 on the Metal Charts and Final Gravity are due to release their album “Surviving Humanity” this year.
Worked as production coordinator and vocal coach for Universal Studios and large professional events. I was primarily working with professionals at an advanced level.
Wanted to extend my skills to beginners and up and coming students. I started teach young kids at School of Rock and found teaching at this level to be so regarding. By doing this I was inspired to dive deep into my own process creating a highly effective and enjoyable program for understanding and mastering singing.

Details
Lessons Duration: 1 hour
Pricing: $75 per class or $250 per month
Student receives a recording of each class as a working tool.
There is no additional charge for information handouts, Lyrics sheets, sheet music, backing tracks, audio tracks, studio recordings or performance video recordngs that are created within the lesson (even if additonal time is spent outside the lesson for editing to create a finished professional product). These additional tools are included in the training program.
