About Margaret
I am a professional singer based in Manhattan. My degrees are in Vocal Performance (B.A., UNC-Greensboro), Choral Conducting (M.Mus, University of Cambridge), and Historical Performance Practice/Voice (D.M.A. Case Western Reserve University).
I am a regular member of the Choir of Trinity Wall Street and travel frequently to sing with such ensembles as Handel and Haydn Society (Boston, MA), Oregon Bach Festival (Eugene, OR), Bach Akademie Charlotte (Charlotte, NC), and Apolo's Fire (Cleveland, OH). I can also be heard frequently as soloist with symphony orchestras around the country (Portland, ME; Memphis, TN; Winston-Salem, NC; Evansville, IN; to name a few).
Before moving to New York City, I taught as an adjunct professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where I had a full voice studio and taught classes in diction and phonetics for classical singers. I have worked with musicians of all ages and experience levels and look forward to meeting you!
