About Betty
Betty Shine, B.M.,M.M.,M.S.M.
I am a retired professional singer and college professor Of 30 years. I have three university degrees in vocal performance. Truly, teaching singing is my passion. I teach in my home on South side of Silsbee. I am a teacher that focuses on the technique of singing. Experience has taught me, if you learn how to sing, you can sing anything! If interested, I would love to hear from you. Ms. Shine
My students and helping each of them learn how to express them selves with self-confidence. It means everything to me if I can help someone undo the Vocal habits that limit their Ability to sing or Help them create healthy habits from their beginnings that will serve them their entire lives.
from an early age, I sang too much, too loud and with too much pressure on my voice. This resulted in damage to my vocal cords. Because of an extraordinary teacher, Norma Newton,RIP, I learned the technique of singing. This allowed me into the world of professional singing. More importantly, it has given me the tools to pass on to other singers the gift of healthy singing.
