About Shayan
When it comes to success on the field, two key skills stand out: Shooting Technique and Ball Control. These abilities are essential for any player looking to dominate their opponents and score crucial goals. My training focuses strictly on these sides of the game.
Shooting Technique is the foundation of a strong attack, allowing players to convert chances from anywhere on the field. With a consistent and effective shooting approach, players can change the game in an instant.
Ball Control is another important skill, enabling players to take possession of the ball and create scoring opportunities through dribbling and combination play. By mastering this skill, players can outsmart opponents and create chances effectively.
By combining these two skills, a player can become a game-changer, capable of turning the tide of a match in their favor. Whether you're a seasoned pro or an up-and-coming talent, developing these skills will help you take your game to the next level and make a lasting impact on the field.
I started as an apprentice with Coerver Colorado. I worked part-time during the school year and full-time during the Summer. I became a head coach Summer of 2016.
I recently graduated with a Bachelors of science in Mechanical Engineering. However, I have been skills coaching since 2013 with Coerver Coaching. As a young player, I attended their skills camps and later joined their coaching program.

I will ask the player what side of their game they want to focus on. However, with all players I will cover control, speed, and striking within the training. It is essential to learn good habits on the field. These habits include being aware of your surroundings and setting yourself up for a purposful first-touch. These habits will give a player better soccer IQ and will allow them to make good and fast decisions on the field.
I have worked with students who range from ages 6-17 years old and who vary in their performance levels. I have worked with all levels from novice to D1 recruits and all ages. As a young coach, I hope to learn from players and grow, and understand that mental preparation and confidence for all ages is crucial when it comes to performing well in games.
Finding the right coach is important because it's all about the process the coach uses to engage you and target what you want to improve. Getting better sometimes comes down to having fun.

It is important to know what aspect of the game you want to improve and break it down for the coach. And also what aspect of the game you enjoy the most. Because we want to make the learning process fun.
