About Marisha
My business stands out because I am a second language learner too and understand the difficulties of learning another language. I personally have learned Spanish, French, and Korean, so I understand the frustrations that arise. I learned Spanish in two different environments, at home and at school, so I have the experience of using both.
I enjoy helping people! Language aquisition can be a challenging process, however the process is much easier when there is a willing teacher involved.
I am a Spanish minor at Michigan State University that also has experience with working in environments that only speak Spanish. My grades are viewable upon request.

When working with a new student, I like to get a grasp of where they are in their learning process as each student is different. Once I understand where they are, I ask where they want to go with their process and what they need from me to reach that destination.
I would advise a student to look into the difference between Spanish spoken in the western world and the Spanish spoken in Spain, as they are different. Once they understand these differences, I'd also advise them to look into teachers that have used the langauge in a variety of situations, Spanish spoken "at home" can be different from the Spanish spoken in schools. Once they have done this, I'd reccomend reaching out to multiple teachers and finding the best fit.
