About Fernando
This is a Spanish teacher working in a DUAL language school in Utah. I am so lucky that I love my job and I can see how kids play and enjoy learning Spanish and other subjects (PE, cooking, math...). As a teacher I have been working in Spain and USA for more than 20 years. I took my degrees in Spain in Complutense University (Madrid) and in Cardenal Cineros University (Alcala de Henares).
I am also a soccer coach at the school and Highschool. I enjoy being part of the team and working together in order to get our goals. I have been a futsal prefisonal player and Have been coaching and being the AD in a school for many years.
I played futsal professional for "Liga Nacional de Futbol Sala"in teams like Atletico Madrid.
I am also certificated to coach other sports like swiming, badmington, volleyball...
I love trail running, camping with family and friends and skiing.

For a Spanish class, we have a small contact the first day to analize the student goals and level and plan de class/ lesson. Is a small evaluation of the students Spanis (in all the skills) to provide activities challenging and motivating. Sometimes the students need the lesson to past a test and need to focus in some contents to achieve the goals.
For soccer (or other sport classes) we like to talk and plan to decide how to work on student skills. We know each other and enjoy while we discover things to improve.
For math or other elementary subject we like to provide fun challenging activities to make the student play while he or she is learning.
Every class will be different, adapted to the student necesities.

Great person! Very kind and welcoming. Is extremely positive with my kids and they really enjoy his soccer sessions!!
