About Ada
I am here to offer tutoring to student K-12 in subjects ranging from reading comprehension to algebra. I am a rising sophmore at Boston College and I have been told by peers that I am a patient teacher who explains subjects in an understandable manner. I will work hard to customize my tutoring tactics to the student's needs.
In high school I worked in our library as a Spanish tutor twice a week. I just finished my freshman year at Boston College where I receieved very strong instruction in Spanish, calculus, and writing/literature. I am confident in my abilities to thoroughly pass on this information.

I like to get to know my student and determine the most effective learning strategies for them. Does this student work well with flashcards? Do they learn better with a hands-on approach or by observing? I think it is very important to recognize the learning strengths and weaknesses of my students before we dive deeper into material.
I have worked with elementary students and high school students.
