About Cynthia
I believe that in order to learn a foreign language, lessons need to be designed to meet the specific needs of their students. One of the most important elements of teaching is grasping student's interests and making it a fun experience!
Teaching and sharing my love of foreign languages has been the most rewarding experience of my life.
I am certified in New York State to teach Spanish, Italian, French, and ESL. I majored in Spanish at the University of Michigan and went on to get my masters in ESL from Manhattanville College. I lived in Spain for a year and Italy for six months learning the nuances and real usage of the languages. Once back I became a Spanish Italian and French teacher, which I have been for 28 years.
