About Ravi
I’m Ravi, a tutor specialising in SQL Server, Databases, Computer Science, Mathematics and English, with more than 15 years of professional IT experience and a strong academic background in Information Technology. I’ve taught postgraduate students, college learners, and teenagers aged 14-16, both in the UK and India.
That’s exactly why I teach — I genuinely enjoy helping students understand subjects that often feel confusing or overwhelming. I’ve seen how the right explanation can transform a student’s confidence, and that motivates me every single day.
I teach because I believe learning should feel clear, structured and achievable, no matter your starting point. Whether it’s SQL queries, database design, GCSE Maths, or English fundamentals, my goal is to make each topic simple, logical and practical. I enjoy adapting my teaching to different levels, and I take pride in seeing students grow from uncertainty to mastery.

I focus on helping students understand concepts rather than memorise them, breaking difficult topics into manageable steps and using practical, real-world examples to make learning clear and relatable.
My lessons are highly structured, with explanations tailored to each student’s ability, ensuring they build confidence as well as competence.
Most lessons run 60 minutes, which gives enough time for explanation, guided practice, and feedback. For SQL or Computer Science, I also offer 90-minute sessions when students need deeper practical exercises or troubleshooting support.
