About Anthony
I genuinely love teaching, and I love teaching maths!
Having over 30 years of experience behind me, I have developed a wide range of strategies to teach maths, and encountered many different learning styles over this period and adapted my lessons and approach accordingly. All students learn in different ways and at different paces, and I always take this in to account when I plan and teach.
I like to think the many students I have taught over the years have found my lessons enjoyable and useful, and have also found me to be a genuine, caring and professional tutor.

I hold post-graduate qualifications in teaching, and in mathematics, and I have over 30 years experience teaching maths to students ranging from 6 years old to adults.
I believe in working to the needs of the student, and prioritise what the student wants and needs in order to get the most out of their lessons with me. I am able to teach across the maths curriculum, and following initial assessment of the student's levels and needs, I tailor my teaching to helping them develop their skills at an appropriate level and at a pace conducive to their own learning style.
I have a gentle and patient approach, and put the needs of the student first at all times.
My lessons are typically up to 1 hour (although these can be extended if necessary).
