I was actually lucky enough to have my dad as my tennis coach growing up, so I'd like to say teaching runs in my blood! I started coaching in high school to earn money over the summers and from then on have earned several coaching gigs that have provided me the experience I have today.

As a competitive player and coach that has worked with students of all ages and levels, I strongly believe that coaches should tailor their coaching style to a player's individual needs and preferences. I like to start off with setting clear goals so that we are on the same page with what we want to accomplish: whether it is becoming Serena Williams or playing to have fun! From there, we can set a plan to as best tangibly record our results.
I have worked with a wide range of students varying in age and skill - from beginners to advanced aged 3 to 80!
My advice to students seeking a good coach is to hire someone you feel comfortable and have fun with. You do not enjoy your time on the court, it will be difficult for you to improve or reach your goals.

Most coaches charge up to $100 per lesson. However, as a player growing up, I understand the struggle of paying for a developing player's costs. With that being said, I charge a flat $60 per lesson or $500 for a bundle of 10 lessons.
