About LAWRENCE
For kids, tennis builds strength, endurance, character and teamwork. For adults, its a great workout that will make you feel good and keep the weight off.
After I retired from my real estate career I wanted to work with kids and beginner adults. My daughter, who is 26, had a very successful athletic career and it helped her develop into a beautiful young adult.
I have been playing tennis for 40 years, and teaching at the Veltri Tennis Center in Plantation for five years.

First, I want the kids to have FUN! I don't want them to get turned-off by "lessons" or "practice." I blend kids' games with tennis instruction...all based on an assessment of the child's age and ability.
Kids from 4 to 14 years old, and beginner adults.
Talk to him or her and ask "How do you teach tennis, and what will I get out of it?" From the coach's answer, you will have other follow up questions. Then, if you feel comfortable, and energized, you may try a lesson or two with that coach.
Our Summer Tennis Camp for kids at the Veltri Tennis Center in Plantation. We had 70 to 90 kids per day during summer vacation. I've seen many kids who go through our program develop their tennis and personality skills while maturing into well balanced young adults.
