About Zach
Hi, I’m Zach and I teach tuba and euphonium.
I play in the Army Band in Washington D.C. and I’m also the Principal Tuba player in the Maryland Symphony.
I’ve been teaching for ten years and have worked with all levels of students from beginners to high-school, college, and fellow professional musicians.
I believe that having fun, being able to clearly share your musical ideas with others as well as being a well-rounded person is integral to being a musician.
Every student has different goals and desires and I strive to create a specifically tailored course of study with each of my students.
Whether you are just starting out, or are an advanced player, I would be happy to work with you!
I've been teaching for ten years out of a desire to help others improve their musical skills.
I have a Bachelor's degree in music from Baylor University and a Master's degree from Rice University.
