About Emilio
Hello! My name is Emilio Vazquez, a Chandler based freelance violinist and private teacher with over 10 years of professional experience teaching students of all ages and levels. I attended ASU for both a Bachelors and Masters in Violin Performance. I love working with students to develop their technical & musical skills, cultivate a deeper appreciation for music, and ultimately achieve any personal goals. I view teaching as a collaborative experience where the student and teacher work together to tackle challenges and build a strong foundation that allows students to become independent. There is no single way to teach music, let alone the violin, and I enjoy finding a teaching style that brings out the best from my students. Although I'm classically trained, I'm always open to exploring other genres and styles with students. I prioritize direct and honest communication with my students to ensure that their needs are being met and I'm fulfilling my role as a teacher. Wether you're looking to pick up the violin for the first time or looking to advance your progress with the instrument, I'd love to chat and help you out!
