About Elena
I am a Juilliard trained professional classical violinist. I have been teaching for over 20 years, and I have studied with some of the world’s greatest teachers including Robert Lipsett, Joel Smirnoff, Dorothy Delay and Donald Weilerstein. While at Juilliard I won the Brahms concerto competition and performed the Brahms concerto with the Juilliard orchestra in Avery Fisher Hall. I gave my Weil Carnegie Hall solo recital debut on March 13th 2005. I am also Suzuki certified and Waldorf trained. I have also served as concertmaster and principal second for many orchestras throughout the United States. My resume is available upon request. I enjoy working with students of all ages including adults. Whether it’s starting you out on the violin or coaching you to get ready for a School or orchestral audition, I am really looking forward to working with you!
