I love to teach all ages of students as they discover the joy of music and the discipline of practicing and concentration.
I am a full time professional musician and part of what I do is teach private lessons and at a private school part-time. I have a busy performing schedule as well, playing all kinds of music with orchestras, musical shows, schools, restaurants, private events, wedding ceremonies and receptions. I play in and lead small string ensembles and a violin/guitar duo and write arrangments for students and all my ensembles. I was formerly a teacher and director of a Suzuki music school in CT.

Initially, I offer a free trial lesson, at which I determine what technique, musical understanding, interest in types of music and goals the potential student has. I suggest a course of study/materials/sheet music book and describe my teaching style.
