About Riley
I started violin in the fifth grade and have loved it for years. I have my degree in music from Cleveland State University and teach violin and viola lessons. I specialize in beginning players! I am looking to take on more students in the evenings and on weekends. Can't wait to learn with you!
I decided to pursue music education at 14 years old and have loved it ever since! My mother started me on violin at a young age, and due to enthusiastic teachers, I quickly fell in love with it!
I have been playing violin and viola for 14 years and have a degree in music from Cleveland State University. I have been teaching lessons privately for 9 years.

I like to get to know my students! I want to hear about THEIR goals and THEIR interests. I strongly believe that setting a good foundation and enjoying the process is the key to long-term success! Posture and music reading are two things I focus on heavily when first working with a new player.
I like to focus on beginning string players, both adult and child. I find the most fun in helping students fall in love with music. Strings can be very challenging, and because of this, many students quit early. I enjoy helping students find the fun in music, even when they reach a challenge or obstacle.
