About Daniel
I am a voice actor for animated shows like
Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokémon, Contra, Gundam Seed, and more. I've been doing this for about 6 years, and musical performing in NYC for almost 10. I have coached numerous people in their voiceover auditions and many of them have booked. I have also helped and inspired actors to start their voiceover over journey by unlocking some tools in their technique (grit/rasp/vocal placement).
if you are brand new and have a desire to begin your voiceover journey and want to start molding your technique, or have an audition you need fine tuned before the big day, I can be of service!
Well I am primarily an actor, and what I am grateful for is my vocal versatility. I get hired because of my ability to act in the many placements my voice can produce sound in. Most of my work involves voicing multiple characters in the same series, and a lot of times they end up talking to each other. Really makes me happy to be able to accomplish a big enough difference in sound to where my characters can have a conversation (and half the time no one knows I voice either character). I enjoy the vocal morphing the most, but being able to tell stories on this type of platform (animated things) is always a wonderful experience.
Since working in both the musical theatre and voiceover business I find that there are many people who wish they had the chops to try this type of work. With practice, motivation, and passion I believe it's achievable. And I find that I'm good at helping people open their eyes to their own potential, and can help give them some tools to work with as they embark on this new and exciting pathway.

I begin with a consultation of what they are looking for. Then we proceed to start the lesson or coaching. Clean and simple!
students I've worked with are primarily actors who never tried voiceover before and want to finess their vocal chops. But I've worked with people who are office workers, doctors, and anyone who wants to try this field!
1) Make sure that you understand what you desire in terms of the classes. Do you want to become a better actor? Do you want to work on vocal placement for different sounds? Do you need to work on sight reading? Do you want to work on auditions? Do you need it all?
2) when you take a class with the person make sure you feel comfortable with them, and make sure you feel like you are growing or learning.

Details
For voiceover lessons: I go $50 per half hr. If consulting first, it's the same price for 45 mins (15 mins added for consultation). I tend to stick with a half hr lesson because I feel like a full hour of voiceover per lesson might be too much.
If you wish to have a full hour we can also arrange that. $100 per hr.
