About Jenn
I study at Emory University in Atlanta, GA where I major in neuroscience and behavioral biology. I have also just completed my study abroad program at the National University of Singapore, where I studied in the faculty of science. I am proficient in molecular genetics, cell biology, neuroscience, and neuropharmacology.
My experiences include 2 years of tutoring middle school students in Sichuan, China (thus earning me the Presidential Gold Volunteer Award), 2 years of teaching math to 7th and 8th grades students in Covington Middle School, and interning as a teacher's assistant in Newark Academy's 7th grade algebra class.
I love working with kids and sharing knowledge among colleagues, so I first began teaching the summer after sophomore year in high school. I volunteered in China for two summers, where I taught English to middle schoolers. Additionally, when I entered university, I taught math and science at a local middle school.
I am a rising junior at Emory University majoring in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. As stated in my description, I have 4 years of tutoring experience.

I like to get to know their style of learning by working through a few problems together, then deciding how to proceed from there.
Mostly middle school students but I definitely want to teach more advanced biology, neuroscience, and psychology topics to high schoolers and even college freshman.
I have so much experience in the neuroscience and biology fields. Having taken 3 neuroscience courses and 2 biology courses just in the past year and receiving an A in all of them, I am confident that I am the best tutor in these fields!
