About Thao
Let's speak Vietnamese like a local with me!
My name is Thao, I am a native Vietnamese speaker. I speak the Northern accent. I have had 7-year experience as a Vietnamese teacher for foreigners from all over the world. I love my job and I know I can bring vision and creative flair to my work.
My experience
I tutored many former students on Preply as well as private students and now they all can socialize very well with Vietnamese people and use Vietnamese confidently as a second language.
My students vary from adults to children from 15 years old.
My philosophy
I believe to get used to any language, speaking and listening are the best places to start. My lessons are designed to facilitate speaking and listening for beginning students and encourage them to be creative and have fun with their language studies. I believe that if fun and engaging lessons can be achieved, students will be more likely to remember the things they learn and be more prepared to apply their new skills to their daily lives.
