About Emma
I have a strong interest in teaching and experience of working with students of all ages and stages, and a violin performance degree from RAM London. I understand the importance of combining disciplined technical study with sparking a love for music and maintaining continued curiosity towards the instrument. I respond to each student as an individual and aim to challenge/bring the best out of them, tracking progress along the way, and using a wide variety of technical resources and methods. In addition to learning pieces, I help to develop aural, rhythmic and sight-reading skills for well-rounded musicianship.

I offer lessons lasting 30 minutes or one hour depending on level, age and preference. I help to prepare students for graded exams, school exams, or they can learn just for fun! I am passionate about teaching, using a wide variety of resources to develop technique and musicianship to the highest levels of skill and enjoyment.
