About Joshua
My experience teaching violin for 11 years has allowed me to support beginners and adult learners with patience and encouragement. I enjoy creating lessons that develop confidence while helping students appreciate both the technical and artistic sides of music.
I focus on building reliable fundamentals before introducing advanced techniques and repertoire. Students improve bowing techniques, finger placement, intonation, rhythm, sight reading, tone production, and musical expression through engaging instruction and practical learning experiences.
Every lesson is tailored to suit individual learning styles, ambitions, and musical preferences. Whether preparing for performances or learning as a personal hobby, I provide thoughtful guidance that encourages continuous improvement and lasting confidence.

Learning violin becomes enjoyable through structured guidance, practical demonstrations, and carefully planned performance activities. Students gradually improve confidence while strengthening posture, coordination, and musical expression in lessons designed to encourage steady and lasting development.
Lessons include posture, bow hold, bowing techniques, finger placement, intonation, shifting, vibrato, rhythm, sight reading, ear training, tone production, and music theory. Guided practice develops technical accuracy while encouraging expressive interpretation and confident violin performance.
Students receive individualized practice routines, performance feedback, and regular progress evaluations throughout their learning journey. Whether preparing for recitals, auditions, examinations, or personal development, lessons promote technical excellence and meaningful musical achievement.
