About Logan
I have spent fourteen years preparing more than 580 students for successful careers in software testing quality assurance and DevOps engineering. My professional background includes a decade as a quality assurance lead and DevOps engineer at major software companies where I established testing practices and deployment pipelines for critical systems. I hold certifications in software testing and cloud platforms and maintain active consulting relationships with technology companies. My students have joined QA teams at startups and enterprises transitioned to site reliability engineering and led DevOps transformations. I am particularly skilled at helping developers understand the importance of quality and helping testers develop technical depth in automation and infrastructure. My teaching is characterised by professional standards practical focus and an emphasis on the collaborative nature of quality engineering. I maintain extensive materials including test frameworks pipeline templates and case studies from my industry experience. Outside of teaching I contribute to testing communities speak at DevOps conferences and mentor quality professionals. My programming teaching specialises in the critical disciplines of software testing quality assurance and DevOps that ensure software reliability and operational excellence. I teach software testing through systematic test design including unit testing integration testing system testing and acceptance testing with emphasis on automation and continuous testing practices. Quality assurance is taught as a mindset and methodology covering code reviews static analysis test coverage metrics and defect management. DevOps is introduced through the practices of continuous integration continuous deployment infrastructure as code and monitoring that bridge development and operations. I teach students to use professional tools including testing frameworks CI/CD pipelines containerisation platforms and cloud infrastructure. For students preparing for careers in QA and DevOps I offer comprehensive preparation for industry certifications and technical interviews. I also teach the soft skills of quality engineering including risk assessment communication with developers and the documentation of test plans and results. My sessions are highly practical with students working on real testing scenarios pipeline configurations and deployment challenges. I emphasise the importance of quality thinking in every aspect of software development.
