About Amber
I am a computer programming tutor with 6 years of experience, teaching High School and College students. I have successfully guided 150–200 students in learning programming, helping them gain confidence and practical skills. I specialise in Java, SQL, and C, focusing on building strong foundations, problem-solving abilities, and real-world application. My teaching philosophy is centred on clarity, patience, and hands-on learning. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace and style, ensuring they understand concepts deeply and can apply them independently. I emphasise creativity, collaboration, and logical thinking, encouraging students to explore multiple solutions and develop efficient coding practices. I also help students prepare for exams, assignments, and coding challenges, guiding them to think critically and code efficiently. Through collaboration and practical exercises, students gain confidence, improve logic, and develop the skills needed to excel in programming and future careers. My goal is to make learning programming enjoyable, rewarding, and applicable to real-world scenarios.
