About Maris
I am a Computer Science tutor with 6 years of experience teaching students from school to college level. Over the years, I have successfully guided 200–300 students, helping them excel in exams, assignments, and coding projects. My teaching philosophy focuses on making learning clear, practical, and engaging. I emphasise understanding concepts deeply rather than just memorising them. I cover topics including Python programming, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving, tailoring lessons to each student’s pace and needs. I encourage creativity and critical thinking through hands-on exercises and coding challenges. Seeing my students gain confidence and achieve their goals is what motivates me. Creativity is encouraged through problem-solving exercises, coding challenges, and mini-projects. Communication is key—I make sure students can explain their code and thought process clearly. I also focus on applying Python to real-world examples, helping students see its practical uses. By combining structured learning with hands-on practice, I ensure understanding is lasting. I support students in exams, assignments, and coding projects, helping them gain confidence and excel. My goal is to make learning Python enjoyable, meaningful, and directly applicable to their academic or career goals.
