My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each child’s individual needs. I believe strong foundations are essential at the 7+ stage, so I focus on building confidence, accuracy, and independent thinking alongside exam technique. I take a calm and encouraging approach, helping children feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. Lessons are carefully planned to balance challenge with support, ensuring pupils are stretched without feeling overwhelmed. I use age-appropriate explanations, clear modelling, and plenty of guided practice, gradually moving children towards working independently. Regular feedback is given to both pupils and parents, with clear targets so progress is always visible. Above all, my aim is to help children enjoy learning, develop resilience, and walk into their exams feeling confident, prepared, and positive.
