About Alia
I am a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BSc in Applied Chemistry. My specialisation lies in electrochemistry and its applications in energy storage and conversion. I enjoy teaching topics such as redox reactions, batteries, fuel cells, and corrosion. These concepts form the foundation for understanding modern energy systems and materials science. Practical examples and case studies make learning engaging and relevant. I guide students through problem-solving, exam preparation, and assignments with patience and clarity. I also incorporate insights from fields like medical technology and wildlife studies to show chemistry’s role in sustainability. Each session is tailored to the student’s pace and learning style, ensuring concepts are fully understood. I encourage exploration beyond textbooks, nurturing critical thinking and creativity.
