About Gianna
I am an experienced programming tutor with 18 years of teaching experience, specialising in C programming for students of all levels. Over the years, I have successfully taught around 150 students, helping them build strong coding skills and confidence. I enjoy making programming simple, clear, and easy to understand for everyone.
My teaching philosophy is based on strong fundamentals and practical learning. I believe students learn best by doing, so I focus on hands-on coding practice along with clear explanations. I break down complex topics like pointers, memory management, and logic building into simple steps. This helps students understand not just how to code, but why the code works.
I create a supportive and friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s level and pace. I help beginners start from basics and guide advanced learners towards deeper problem-solving and structured programming.

Students write programmes during sessions to improve confidence and problem-solving skills. I guide them in understanding logic rather than memorising code.
My tutoring style is based on communication, empathy, flexibility, integrity, and cultural sensitivity. I listen carefully to each student and adapt my teaching to their level and learning style. I support beginners who feel unsure and help them progress step by step. I also challenge advanced learners with deeper problem-solving tasks.
