About Juan
With over 15 years of hands-on experience using Photoshop, I’ve developed my skills as a senior graphic designer and photo retoucher. In the past, I’ve successfully taught Photoshop Levels 1 and 2 to both students and adults, covering core tools, professional workflows, and e-commerce-focused retouching. I am currently working as a Senior Retoucher at Palace Skateboards, where I focus on high-end fashion and e-commerce retouching, quality control, and maintaining consistent visual standards across collections and campaigns. I’m now excited to take my teaching further by sharing over 10 years of specialist experience in the fashion and e-commerce retouching industry, using real-world studio workflows rather than theory alone. Drawing from my professional background, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of established fashion and lifestyle brands, including Agent Provocateur, Stella McCartney, 18 Montrose, Paul Smith, Wales Bonner, Alexander McQueen, Métier, Lyle & Scott, JW Anderson, Farah, Urban Outfitters, Stone Island, Ted Baker, River Island, Oki-Ni, ASOS, OVO, Cubitts, David Koma, Thomas Pink, Mulberry, and others. This experience has given me a strong understanding of different brand identities, design philosophies, and industry standards, allowing me to teach students how to deliver clean, consistent, and professional results tailored to each client’s needs.
