About Hilli
I am a dedicated violin tutor with 16+ years of teaching experience working with school students, college students, and working professionals. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed helping students from different backgrounds develop their musical abilities and gain confidence in playing the violin.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and personalized instruction. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to meet individual needs and goals. Whether students are learning for personal enjoyment, academic purposes, or skill development, I make sure lessons remain engaging and effective.
Over the years, I have successfully helped many students strengthen their technique, improve musical understanding, and become more confident performers. One of my greatest achievements has been seeing students grow from beginners into passionate and independent musicians.
I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to progress and enjoy every step of their musical journey. My goal is to inspire a lifelong appreciation for music while helping students reach their full potential.

My teaching philosophy is based on compassion, patience, and support. I understand that every student learns differently, so I customize lessons according to individual goals and abilities. I strive to create an environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
For violin instruction, I focus on technique, tone quality, rhythm, and music reading. I teach gradually and ensure students master each concept before moving forward. This approach helps students develop confidence and maintain steady progress.
I believe strong communication is essential for effective learning. Therefore, I provide regular feedback and encourage students to ask questions and share their concerns.
In addition to violin, I teach music theory, sight reading, and ear training. These subjects strengthen students' musical knowledge and help them become more complete musicians.
My goal is to help students develop both musical skills and self-confidence.
