About Kate
With 12 years of experience as a violin tutor, I have taught students from schools, colleges, and professional backgrounds. I enjoy working with learners of different ages and helping them experience the joy and creativity that music brings.
My teaching philosophy is centered on understanding each student's individual needs. I believe that a supportive and encouraging environment helps students learn more effectively. Therefore, I design lessons that are flexible, enjoyable, and focused on long-term progress.
Over the years, I have successfully helped many students strengthen their technical skills and become more confident performers. Watching students achieve their goals and enjoy their musical journey has been one of the greatest rewards of my teaching career.
My goal is to inspire students to continue learning and developing a lifelong love for music.

My teaching methodology is built on compassion and continuous support. I believe that a positive relationship between teacher and student is essential for successful learning. I strive to create lessons that are engaging, enjoyable, and suited to each student's needs.
For violin students, I focus on strong fundamentals, including posture, finger placement, bowing techniques, rhythm, and music reading. I use practical examples and simple explanations to help students understand concepts clearly.
I encourage regular practice and provide personalized guidance to support steady improvement. Through patience and encouragement, I help students develop confidence and remain enthusiastic about learning.
Apart from violin, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, and basic performance preparation. These subjects contribute to a complete musical education.
My goal is to help students become disciplined, creative, and passionate musicians.
