About Isla
I am an experienced violin tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, helping students from school level to working professionals learn and improve their musical abilities. I believe that music is a lifelong skill, and I enjoy guiding students at every stage of their learning journey.
My teaching philosophy is based on clarity, patience, and regular practice. I focus on building a strong foundation by teaching basics such as posture, bow control, finger placement, and understanding of notes. As students improve, I guide them towards advanced techniques and musical expression. I use practical exercises and simple teaching methods to make learning effective.
I have successfully trained over 150 students, many of whom have shown great improvement and confidence. I create a positive and encouraging learning space. My goal is to help students enjoy music and continue learning with interest.

I focus on building strong fundamentals such as posture, bow control, finger placement, and scales, ensuring students gain a clear understanding before moving forward. I follow a structured and step-by-step approach that helps build confidence and consistency.
Communication is very important in my classes, and I encourage students to ask questions and share their doubts openly. I provide clear explanations and regular feedback to support their improvement. I follow values like honesty, discipline, and commitment.
Apart from violin, I also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm exercises, and performance techniques to help students grow as complete musicians.
