Methodology

I now teach exclusively online, to business people and individuals who appreciate an efficient, precisely focused approach to learning. Working with real-life texts, often from the student's real-life business, I work with learners to expand their fluency, vocabulary, structure and comprehension. Most importantly, I work to help learners build confidence, the vital key to all successful communication.

Experience

I am an ESL tutor from the UK with almost twenty years experience teaching around the world. I specialize in advanced/higher level one-to-one classes, preparing for examinations or English for professional purposes. I enjoy teaching in a relaxed but attentive atmosphere, and believe in tailoring class materials to match every student's, individual needs.

This Soros-Group backed fund, operating under the auspices of the ECF, (European Cultural Foundation), annually oversees and finances literary and academic publications. 2000-2007 Senior Language Instructor at TriEnglish, Israel.

This position, within Israel’s most prestigious corporate training institute, included the design and implementation of corporate training programs, courses and presentations built to meet the specific needs or challenges within a client company. Clients included PWC, KPMG, Intel, Sun Microsystems, Checkpoint & Comverse.
A large part of my activities with TriEnglish, involved writing, editing and rewriting corporate documentation, emails, web-texts and marketing materials. (Ref on request)
