About Aviral
My name is Aviral (Avi), and I am thrilled to welcome you to my virtual classroom! My journey with numbers and science is unique. I hold a B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering, and I spent the early part of my career working for ExxonMobil, one of the largest energy companies in the world. Today, I work as a professional banker, navigating complex financial numbers and markets every day. From analyzing energy reactors to managing high-stakes financial data, Math has been the absolute foundation of my career. They are not just subjects to me; they are the tools I use to solve real-world problems.

My Teaching Techniques and Methods:
I break down abstract mathematical and physical formulas into real-world applications. Having worked as a Chemical Engineer at ExxonMobil and now as a professional banker, numbers are my daily tools.
Instead of asking students to memorize steps, I use:
• The "First Principles" Method: We strip complex topics down to basic rules.
• Corporate Case Studies: I show how a physics equation applies to an energy plant, or how calculus works in financial data.
• Interactive Visuals: I use a digital drawing pad to sketch systems, curves, and formulas live on screen.
The Usual Structure of a Class:
Each 60-minute session is highly structured to maximize focus and retention:
• First 10 Minutes (The Warm-up): Quick review of the previous class and troubleshooting tricky school homework questions.
• Next 35 Minutes (The Core): Introducing the new topic through visual conceptual models and live problem-solving.
• Final 15 Minutes (The Check): The student solves a live problem independently to confirm true understanding, followed by an outline of expectations for next time.
