About Evan
I am an enthusiastic Trumpet tutor with 12+ years of teaching experience, working with High School students, College students, and adults. Throughout my teaching career, I have successfully guided around 300 students towards achieving their learning goals. My classes are designed to make learning clear, enjoyable, and rewarding for students of all experience levels.
My teaching philosophy is based on the belief that learning should be simple, interactive, and student-centred. I understand that every learner progresses differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit individual abilities. I explain concepts in simple English, provide practical activities, and encourage students to build confidence through regular practice.
Every lesson includes clear objectives, structured learning, hands-on exercises, and detailed feedback. I focus on strengthening basic skills first before introducing advanced concepts. This approach helps students develop confidence while making steady progress throughout their learning journey.
One of the biggest achievements in my teaching career is successfully helping around 300 students improve their abilities and reach their personal or academic goals. Many students have shown excellent progress through dedication, consistent practice, and personalised guidance.
As a tutor, I value patience, honesty, communication, and continuous encouragement. I believe students learn best in a positive and supportive environment where they feel respected and motivated. My goal is to inspire every learner to enjoy Trumpet, build strong skills, and become confident in their abilities while developing a lifelong love for learning.

My teaching methodology for Trumpet is centred around personalised learning, practical knowledge, and continuous improvement. I use Communication to create an open and supportive classroom where students can freely discuss their goals and difficulties.
Through Adaptation to Learning Styles, I customise lessons to meet the needs of beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students. I include Real-life examples and case studies from professional trumpet performances, musical groups, and industry experiences to make lessons more meaningful.
Besides Trumpet, I guide students in Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Reading, Rhythm Development, Improvisation, and Performance Skills. I focus on building strong fundamentals such as breathing control, tone production, articulation, and musical expression. My goal is to help students develop confidence, creativity, and a strong connection with music.
