About Wiling
As a flute tutor with more than 7 years of experience, I am passionate about helping students achieve their musical goals. I teach flute to school students, college learners, and working professionals who want quality and structured guidance. My teaching method is practical and student-centred.
I focus on correct posture, breath support, tone consistency, finger speed, and rhythm control. I also teach related subjects such as music theory, scale practice, improvisation basics, and ear development to enhance creativity.
I provide organised lesson plans and encourage regular practice. My special strength is building performance confidence and helping students overcome stage fear. I believe music learning should build both technical skill and self-expression.

My flute teaching philosophy emphasises progressive development supported by Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity. I structure lessons in clear stages, beginning with posture alignment, breath support, and embouchure positioning.
Once a stable tone is established, I introduce articulation control, scale mastery, finger coordination exercises, and dynamic variation. I carefully observe how each student understands new material and adjust my explanations accordingly. Flexibility allows me to modify lesson plans depending on progress and individual aspirations, whether academic or recreational.
Collaboration keeps students engaged by encouraging open communication and shared goal planning. Positivity creates a safe and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable refining challenging techniques. Beyond flute performance training, I teach music reading, rhythm studies, ear development, and theory basics to ensure well-rounded musicianship.
