About Jasper
For the past 8+ years, I have enjoyed teaching trumpet to school and college students who are passionate about learning music. Teaching allows me to combine my love for education with my dedication to helping students achieve success.
My lessons include breathing control, posture, embouchure, articulation, tone quality, rhythm, scales, music reading, ear training, music theory, and performance coaching. I adapt my teaching methods to match each student's learning style so they can improve comfortably and confidently.
A memorable milestone in my career has been helping students overcome performance anxiety and enjoy playing in front of audiences. Watching their confidence grow has been one of the greatest rewards of my teaching journey.
I encourage students to stay motivated, practise regularly, and enjoy every stage of the learning process. I believe mistakes are valuable opportunities to learn and improve.
Teaching is more than a career for me—it is an opportunity to inspire confidence, creativity, and perseverance. My goal is to help every learner become a confident musician with a lifelong passion for music.

My teaching methodology is designed to help students achieve success in trumpet through structured learning and positive encouragement. I believe every student deserves lessons that match their abilities and personal goals.
Motivation plays an important role in my teaching. I encourage students to remain enthusiastic, practise regularly, and appreciate their musical progress.
Communication helps students learn comfortably. I explain every concept in simple English, demonstrate techniques step by step, and provide guidance whenever needed.
Integrity shapes my teaching style through honesty, patience, and respect. I encourage students to develop strong practice habits and responsibility.
Creativity keeps lessons inspiring. I include breathing exercises, articulation practice, rhythm training, tone development, improvisation, and performance opportunities.
Besides trumpet, I teach music theory, ear training, sight-reading, rhythm reading, ensemble playing, beginner composition, and music appreciation. My goal is to help students become confident musicians with excellent skills.
