My approach to teaching is simplistic, to the point, and student focused. I cater to the individuals needs and help explain every detail so it is easy to comprehend; something I felt I didn't have when I first started. I like to think outside the box and answer the questions that some photographers may not initially think of right off the bat. I will meet each student where they are in their knowledge and skill as a photographer, then set out a list of goals and dreams for the success in our course. I aim to inspire and keep the student in love with creating art for the sake of creating. Learning should always be fun and exciting when it is something you are truly passionate about!
I picked up my first 35mm during high school; learning solely on film. After spending years in the dark room, I made the switch to digital when I entered my first year in the Herberger Fine Arts Program for Photography at ASU. Pulling inspiration from fashion magazines, music, and my mother’s closet; being drawn to doing fashion work just clicked. In recent years I began photographing branding campaigns for yoga studios unique to their vision and that has been a major game changer in my career. My feminine/masculine influenced vision and vocal subject direction are what have helped me narrow my niche and become a successful photographer.
I'm known for my editorial work, boudoir look books, and yoga lifestyle branding.
