I am an open-minded and level headed individual who will take time within the first session to establish the needs of each student and the desires they have from the sessions to come. From this I will draw up a set lesson plan to help everyone understand the content we will cover and time in which this will be completed. I am best suited to help people who are thinking of heading to study at undergraduate level, this includes GCSE, A level, BTEC students, and mature students who would like to improve their creative portfolio before returning to an educational setting.
I am a Fashion student current studying in my 3rd year at UCA. Previously I have work experience within a secondary school environment, and within the fashion industry. I aim to offer a better insight into all aspects of fashion design and art for aspiring creatives, helping to promote individuality and confidence within the subject.
Cancellation prior to an hour before the lesson will have no fee, however if the lesson is cancelled within an hour before the lesson is due to begin a fee of £5 will be incurred.
Currently studying at the University of the Creative Arts, Epsom, attending the third year of BA (Hons) Fashion, on track to with a First. Previous to this, I attended Basingstoke College of Technology, achieving a Foundation degree in Art and Design and a Diploma in Medical Sciences graded triple Distinction*. At college I was fortunate enough to feature a dress I designed and constructed at a local art exhibition, in the Willis Museum and Sainsbury Gallery. At GCSE level, I attended the Costello school, moving forward with 13 GCSEs at A*-C, including A* Art and Design.
The first of the three work experience placements throughout my academic career, was a 1-week placement at Multitone Electronics PLC. in the marketing department. This role mainly involved helping with visuals for user interfaces. Secondly, was a placement at The Costello School helping in the art department. This further improved my communication skills with a range of different people. Most recently was an industrial work placement within the fashion industry that was unfortunately cut short due to lockdown as a result of the COVID-19 Crisis. However, the time I spend there was highly insightful and offer much knowledge that I am excited to pass forward.
