About Rachel
I am an experienced teacher of over 10 years. I have taught within primary and secondary schools and I spent 7 years as a maths lecturer in Lewisham college. I have tutored children for their 11plus exams since I was a teenager (20 years now).
I started tutoring in a centre and when I gained qualified teacher status I was promoted to manager of their Woolwich centre. I gained a 2:1 in ba(hons) primary education degree in 2012 alongside a first for my dissertation to do with the effectiveness of feedback within mathematics. I have a CELTA qualification and experience working with all ages. I have supported learners with dyslexia, autism and other learning needs.
I have stopped working for 2 years now to look after my children full time. My youngest starts school this September and I wish to start working again.
