I am an enthusiastic and passionate teacher who is able to teach players from beginner to intermediate. I reached Grade 8 ABRSM and have taught ever since. I am happy to teach at my home in Canton or to come to you!
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach the flute, recorder and music theory.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have ABRSM Grade 8 Flute and a BA (Hons) degree.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £12.50 for 30min, and £25 for 1 hour.
- Where do you teach?
I live in Canton, where I have a music room with a piano perfect for teaching. I am also happy to come to students' houses around the Cardiff area.
- When are you available?
I work 9am-2pm Monday to Friday and am otherwise free for teaching.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
All ages!
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
It is important to me that the students are having fun, if they would like to work towards examinations, then I would be happy to put them forward and prepare them for it!
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I will regularly sit down with my students and talk to them, making sure that they are getting the most out of their lessons from me! I want to give my students some control, ask them what it is that they want from my lessons. If they want to work hard and get their Grades and distinctions then I will push and encourage them to do so. If they just want a fun break from homework and school life then I can give them a 30-60 minute escape, filled with popular music, backing tracks and duets. etc.. or if they want a bit of both, even better!
