About Melissa
I focus on placement and muscle usage to not only improve dance performance and mastery of movement but also to prevent injuries. My yoga and fitness certifications help with both of these and the safest increase in flexibility and control of the appropriate muscle groups.
I am sensitive to and able to work around many physical injuries and impediments, especially with barre for fitness.

Basic tap and ballet with a focus on skills needed to progress, for older students: barre and ballet for fitness. As I am also a personal trainer and yoga teacher, I am skilled at injury avoidance. I can cross-teach these skills to help bolster dance performances.
