About Persia

I’m Persia Beheshti, a director, producer and editor. Having created music videos for Billboard-charting artists, fashion campaign films and a documentary, I’m excited to pass on my knowledge of filmmaking to the next generation. I now offer one-on-one film tutoring for high school students in Dubai, helping young creatives develop their skills, explore their vision and bring their stories to life through film.

About the lesson

What students learn

Directing: turning an idea into a story, working with actors, and framing every shot
Producing: planning a shoot, scheduling, budgeting and leading a small crew
Editing: cutting footage, building pace and rhythm, and adding sound and music
Film Studies: analysing great films, film history and visual storytelling

Hands-on from day one. Students write, shoot and edit their own short films, and finish with work they can be proud of and use in portfolios and university applications.

Built around each student

A curriculum tailored to each student's interests, level and goals
Flexible schedules that fit around school and exams
