My teaching method changes depending on the student. If I am giving lessons to younger children, I try to make the lessons as fun and engaging as possible, basing my teaching methods on particular games or puzzles the children will find interesting. For older students, particularly those studying at GCSE or beyond, my lessons are more structured. I try to give each lesson a particular theme, and focus on both oral and written comprehension/expression as well as any grammar points the student has particular trouble with.
I am a final year student studying French and Spanish at the University of Leeds. I have recently returned from my year abroad which was spent studying in Barcelona, so I have an advanced level of Spanish. Whilst in Spain, I gave English lessons to students aged from 5 to 20 years old. Since returning to England, I have been giving Spanish lessons to students at GCSE level.
